Near the town of Sežana, the very heart of one of Slovenia most prized pride: the Lipicanec, a very beautiful breed of riding horse. At the Lipica Stud Farm, Lipicanec can be seen through its endless pasture.
Sečovlje Salina Nature Park
Longing the borders of Croatia is the Sečovlje Salina Nature Park, where traditional salt-pans and birds are part of the beautiful landscape. The famous Piranske Soline solni cvet – fleur de sel is harvested in the Sečovlje Salt Pans.
